This policy outlines the terms for cloud license activation, concurrent usage, and device installation caps to ensure secure and fair access to the software for a cloud license assigned to a single user.
Operational Limit (1 Active Session): While the software may be installed on multiple devices, it can only be actively used on one (1) computer at a time. Opening the software on a second device while a session is already active will result in a "License Session Limit" notification.
To prevent unauthorized license sharing and "device hopping," there is a strict limit on how many unique computers can be associated with a license in a given period.
Monthly Limit: A maximum of five (5) unique computers can be installed / authorized per calendar month.
Limit Reached: Once five different hardware IDs have been registered within a single month, no further installations or sign-ins on new devices will be permitted until the start of the next calendar month.
Reset Cycle: The installation counter resets automatically on the 1st of every month.
Migrating to a New Computer: When moving to a new machine, users are encouraged to sign out of unused devices to keep one of their two "Authentication" slots open.
Device Failures: In the event of a total device failure that prevents a manual sign-out, please contact technical support. However, the monthly 5-device installation limit remains a fixed security constraint.
Wait Period: If the 5-device limit is reached on or before the end of the month, the user must wait until the following month to install / authorize a new device.
